Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope that we all experience the true joy that only our SavioUr’s birth can bring! Some people get joy and happiness confused; if we were happy all the time it would be quite unrealistic, – whereas, the joy of the birth and resurrection of Jesus fill us with the type of hope that can’t be stifled by the down turns or sad events in our life.
We are lucky enough to get ready for a family tradition of going to Midnight mass. We haven’t done this since my parents passed away (over 10 years ago) but my four kids are old enough (and excited enough LOL) that we are continuing this family tradition.
The mastering for “Praising Him Loudly: Volume 4″ is going extremely well! I’m humbled by the fact that so many have submitted such great music to share with our community and with the world. Our past compilations have been great – but this one could be the best one yet! There seems to be some common elements happening amidst all the different bands; but I’ll comment on this when we release PHL4 so you can hear what I’m talking about.
We are also working on restructuring the website and adding some much needed improvements. Some of the improvements involve internet/website security, redoing the forums (they don’t seem to be getting the use that we thought they would get…) and adding more graphics to make the website look more up-to-date.
What won’t be changing is our commitment to Our Holy Mother Church and our passion for creating music that reflects our Church’s theology. At this holy time of the year, please consider praying for our Pope, our priests and for all those that are involved with assisting the poor and needy.
