As some of you have mentioned online, yes there will be a PHL6! I’m a little late starting this due to the act that I have been touring with a symphonic metal band and a lot of my free time has been occupied with rehearsals and touring. We have been playing and headlining some metal shows and the response has been well worth the effort. Personally, I’m finally feeling like my “old self” again after the heart attack and bypass operation and I thank God every day for the gift of health. Every day is like Christmas morning for me!
The dates for this project are quite a bit later than they were in the past. The deadline for submissions will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017 and the tentative release date will be May 1, 2017.
If you are considering submitting music for PHL6, please consider the following:
- Each band or artist can submit up to two (2) songs.
- The songs that you submit must be unmastered .wav files. We will not accept any other format.
- All songs submitted must reflect the theology of the Holy Roman Catholic Church and should reflect it in the lyrics. Ya – we’re metal….but we are also Catholic!!
- You can submit new material or older material – the only thing that we request is that the songs submitted have not been released by Catholicmetal.com in the past.
