Happy New Year to everyone! If you have been on Facebook over the past 48 hours or so, you saw a quick post about the deadline for PHL5 being extended. Yes, it is true!
The deadline for PHL5 was supposed to be midnight on December 31, 2015. I have had several requests for extensions for the deadline so the final deadline is midnight on Saturday, January 30, 2016. First of all, I apologize to everyone for the earlier deadline—what was I thinking! It’s bad enough that the deadline was over the Christmas holidays, but to put it on New Year’s Eve. I promise that for any compilations in the future, that we will try to avoid such dates. I hope that the extension will give everyone a little more time if it is needed. If you have already submitted your songs, thank for making the deadline and if you want to take advantage of this extra time – please let me know asap.
I’d like to take this time to remind everyone of the following:
- we only accept unmastered .wav files – please do not send us your music on any other format (e.g., .aiff, mp3, etc.) and please make sure that the files are unmastered.
- when you are rendering your final mix – please make sure it is 24 bit
- please only submit 2 songs per band/person, and
- please make sure that the lyrics reflect our Catholic doctrine
